Who is eligible to participate in Reynolds American PAC?

Federal law states that only employees who are salaried and have policymaking, managerial, professional, or supervisory responsibilities and who are U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents (i.e., green card holders) may be solicited to contribute.

To ensure efficient compliance with federal law, the company has chosen to solicit only the following employees:

• Exempt employees grade 33 and above of RAI, RAIS, RJRT, ASC, SFNTC, RJRVC, RAITMS and KBP; and
• A citizen of the United States, the commonwealth of Puerto Rico, any territory or possession of the United States, or a lawful U.S. permanent resident alien (green card holder).

Exempt employees are those executive and administrative personnel who are paid on a salary (rather than hourly) basis and who have policymaking, managerial, professional or supervisory responsibilities. Exempt means not eligible for overtime pay.
